Where has time Gone!!
I was going through some pictures and decided I need to show some of the highlights of our family. Our kids have grown up so fast. I can't believe Bailey will be 15 soon. It was just the other day when we brought our own little orangutan(that's what she looked like with the long auburn hair) home from the hospital. I think we take for granite how fast time goes by. It didn't seem to go by so fast when we were younger. I can't keep up with it now a days. One day we have our little ones running around and the next they are in high school. It is scary that Bailey could be leaving us in 3 years. I feel sad that maybe I haven't had enough one on one time with each of them. I hope I have and am still building good relationships with them. I hope they will always want to stay involved with family. And not forget about mom and dad. Family relationships seem so broken lately. I always want them to be able to come home to Brett & I with anything. We have tried to keep and honest open relationship with them. We want them to be able to tell us anything, whether it is a touchy subject or not. So far we seem to be OK. Brett has a great relationship with our kids. He is the patient one. The kids tell him everything. (Even stuff that happens at school that he didn't want to hear.) I hope our kids can look back and always say that their mom and dad loved them and was always there for them.

Child Labor Law!!
Bailey came home from school wanting to have a friend party. She said she would clean the whole house if we would let her invite several friends over. I have decided that we should have parties more often. If boys get to come to the house, we care what it looks like. This worked out lovely. I just finished painting my dining room and down my stairs and she gets to clean up the mess. I had to put switch covers back on, but she gets to do the floors and dusting. I remember having these little friend parties when I was young. I have lots of fond memories of them. I would aways invite Brett and wish he would look my way. I guess the squeeky wheel got the grease. I adventually got him. Ha Ha!! Couldn't have found anyone better.

Tanner 2nd Grade Patriotic Program
Tanner has his 2nd grade Patriotic program yesterday. He was able to post the colors with the other scouts in uniform. He was so nervous. He about tripped when he did it for the Elementary kids earlier that day. Luckily he made it to the stand without tripping or tipping over the flag. They sang several song to the veterans in out area. Its nice to see the school teaching our kids about patriotism and to appreciate our freedom. Tanner was so embarrassed. When they were singing the Yankee Doodle song he had to make the shape of a women. Make curves with his hand. He said all the girls laughed at them!!! It was cute. They all did a good job.
Bailey Freshman Year Basketball to a Close!!

Bailey just had her last season basketball game last night. They played good but didn't come out with a victory. It is nice to have this year under our belts. She has improved her games 2 fold. We are proud of her and the good girl she is. She is always a good example to others. We look forward to the next sport she chooses.

Lets Blog!!!
Wow, I think I am going. I still think I need to work out the bugs. I think I am thankful to Trinia and Tara for the motivation to do this. I think it will be great to let family and friend know whats going on in the Sorenson World. Our lives have been engulfed in Wrestling and Basketball. Brendon took State last weekend and we are all really proud of him. He is an amazing, emotional young man. We are proud of him and the excited to be involved in his accomplishments. Bailey is almost done with a year of Freshman Basketball. It has been emotional at times. I think she will be a better player and a better person for all she has learned. T- Bone is going to continue wrestling. We hope we can stoke the fire in him a little.
