Bailey's Big Day Finally Here!!!

Bailey had her surgery on her mouth yesterday. Poor kids just had to get her mothers terrible teeth. After almost three years of braces, the day for her implants has finally got here. I tries to watch the first implant procedure. I let Brett go back on the 2ND. It' s amazing the things they can do now days. I had a hard time watching and it made me a little oozy, but I know this is going to change Baileys whole appearance. I remember when I got my braces off and had my crowns done. It was like I grew up and so many things changed. I know this will change for Bailey also. We are going to be fighting the boys off more than we already are. I will see If I can get a before and after picture together.

Our Family Trip to the Bahamas

We flew to Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday. We couldn't get on the ship until Monday. So when we finally got to get on and had to go to our lifeboat with our life jackets, the kids weren't to thrill. Safety first even on vacation!!

The kids had fun dancing on our sail away party. There doing the bunny hop!!!

Our first stop was Freeport Bahamas. We went to a place called Paradise Cove. It was great. We got away from all the people and snorkeled all day. Here are some of the live shells the kids found.

Our second day we stopped at Nassua, Bahamas. This is the big Bahama island. John Travolta and Nicolas Cage have homes on this island. We got to see where they filmed 007'. We went to a big beach on this island. This wasn't the best place to snorkel. They has jet skis and boats pulling parasailers. So the kids played in the sand and jumped in the waves rolling in. Made Tanner into a girl with a bikini.

The kids loved to be able to order anything they wanted. If they wanted three appetizers and two main courses it was ok. It was great to let them have fun trying new things. Tanner was hoping for frog legs. Unfortunately there weren't any on the menu so he has to go with escargot (snails). By the end of the cruise they had the ordering thing figured out. They loved to order room service. When we would get back to the ship early afternoon and want to grab a bite before dinner, they would rather stay in their room, shower, watch cartoons, and order room service. Who wouldn't want to lay in bed and eat cookies and hot chocolate!!

Our last stop was Great Stir-up Cay. This is NCL's own private island. It was a nice island with a great beach, just to many people. They had lots of fun things to do like play beach volleyball. They had BBQ's going and music playing. We just didn't like snorkeling with that many people, so we snuck to the back side of the island. It was rough water, but it was the best snorkeling. I'm glad we didn't see any sharks.

Brett's mom and dad came with us. We had a great time. I think they had fun seeing the kids get so excited about things. As you can see by the end of the trip Tanner was tuckered out. There was not allot of down time. Not with kids that don't want to stop I guess. What ever happen to my afternoon nap?? I thought you were supposed to relax on vacation.

3rd at State!!

We went to State wrestling for the little league last weekend. Tanner did great. He ended the season strong. He wrestled better at state than he has a through the little league season. I think it is good the season is over. He has been going since October. He did the junior high program with Brett & Brendon and then just did the Bantam season too. It has been a long season. We are glad to end on a good note though. He took 3rd and that is good. He is only 8 years old. Brett & I have to keep reminding ourselves this all the time. We get so competitive in the junior high league and forget how old he really is. We are proud of him and love him to pieces. He is a major highlight of our family. He is always fun to be round and talk to. What a great personality!!

We also took 2nd place as a team. They all did great!!

Bailey's 15th Birthday

Bailey just turned 15 on March 21. Wow, has time flew. I remember bringing her home from the hospital in a snow storm. It was funny it was stormy again on the day of her birthday. We had the whole family over for cake and ice cream. Her grandma hid eggs with money in them in her room. She figured she could choose what she needed with the money and thought it would be fun to try to find all the eggs. After several minutes of looking, it took both Grandma Karen and Grandpa Kerry and me to find the last few. They did good job hiding them!! Grandma Dana, Aunt Danielle, & Gracee decorated her room with 15 balloons and signs. Bailey has always been a thoughtful person and they were just trying to reciprocate the nice things that Bailey had done for them on their birthdays. Lots of help from little cousins!!

Vacation Changed!!

We had plans to go to Disneyland this weekend. But because of softball and track we had to cancel. Friday Brett was looking on travelocity and found a great deal on a cruise. We decided to take our kids on a 5 day Bahama Cruise instead of Disneyland. They were all thrilled about it. Especially because it is on the last week of school. We hated taking them out of school but with everything they are involved in we just had to commit. We tried to find a time during the summer. But with Basketball and volleyball camps it wasn't happening. We are all really excited. Brett & I have talked about the cruises we have been on and the kids are stoked about all the food they can have. They can't stop talking about the beach and snorkeling. I told Brett that since we got a great deal on the cruise, I will have more money to get us all ready for the cruise!!!!!

Wrestling and More Wrestling!!

I think wrestling is the only thing we know around this house lately. Bailey has started softball and track. She would be a great wrestler if her dad would allow it. Brett wishes all the time his boys had some of Bailey fire. She hasn't ran at any meets yet. They canceled her first track meet. She played her first softball game in Emery last Wednesday. We lost but we got they season started. She is a good softball player. I hope she can shine and let her coaches know she is a tough player. We hope she will do well in track also. She is a runner. She has always been at the front of the pack. We hope you achieve all you hope for Bailey.

1st Place

2nd Place

Tanner took 2nd at the North Sevier Tournamnet last weekend. He took 1st at Millard this weekend. We are proud of him and the improvements he has made. Great job T-Bone!!!

Here were a few funny pictures from St. George that Brett took with his cell phone.
